I created these illustrations for Juhood  (now Jasūr), a beautiful academic journal and magazine that articulates MENA+ cultures and the histories that have shaped them.
I had never made digital art before, so I relied on techniques that I employ in more familiar mediums to visualize eight in-depth academic essays: repetition, abstraction, and symbolism  through color.
